Here in Canada we are approaching our celebration of Harvest Thanksgiving. In that context the reading from Deuteronomy 26.1-11 is quite appropriate.
We come from many countries and many cultures. We are working towards reconciliation with Aboriginal Peoples who have suffered because of our settler and colonial values.
But even so, we can give thanks that God continues to work in us, through us and for us.
