Dear Friends,
I spent a good portion of the past week in Chicago attending the annual Board meeting of the Anglican Theological Review. Consequently I could only ponder what to say to my congregation about today's readings: Exodus 30.15-20; Philemon 1-23; Luke 14:25-34.
I hope that you find these thoughts helpful to you as we leave the status quo of Christendom behind and journey to the future strengthened by the wisdom of our past.
